REPORT ON STUDENT FEEDBACK ANALYSIS

 

ACADEMIC YERA 2017-18, III Year Sem-II

 

1.     Rate how challenging was the syllabus offered by the courses.

From the analysis report, it was observed that 75% of the student said that syallabus offered by the courses is excellent, 18 of the student said is very good, and 7% of the students have rated good. 

 

2.     Rate the appropriate sequence of the courses provided in the curriculum.

Majority of the students i.e; 60% have rated excellent about the sequence of the courses provided in the curriculum, 19% of the students have rated good, and 12% of the students have rated good. 

3.     Rate the depth of the syllabus of courses concerning the competencies expected by industry/current global scenarios.

58% of the students have rated excellent about the syllabus of courses concerning expected by industry/ current global scenarios, 27% of the students have rated very good, and 15% have rated good.

4.     Rate the sequence of the units/modules in courses

 

50% of the students feel that the sequence of the units/modules in courses is excellent, 45% of the students feel that it is very good, and 5% of the students feel that it is good.

 

5.     Rate the adequateness of the prescribed text books and reference books mentioned for the courses.

53% of the students have rated excellent about the adequateness of the prescribed text books and reference books mentioned for the courses, 32% of the students have rated very good, and 15% of the students have rated good.

6.     Rate the syllabus content of the courses in terms of the burden on students

45% of students only feel that the syllabus content of the courses in terms of the burden on students is excellent, 33% of the students feel very good, and 22% of the students feel good.

7.     Rate the design of courses in terms of extra learning or self-learning.

50% of the students have a opinion that the design of courses in terms of extra learning or self-learning is excellent, 30% of the students feel that it is very good, and 20% of the students feel that it is good.

48% of the students feel that the flexibility in choosing the elective courses concerning technology advancements is excellent, 40% of the students feel that it is very good, and 12% of the students feel that it is good.

 

9.     Rate the percentage of courses offering LAB components.

43% of the students have observed that the percentage of courses offering LAB components is excellent, 32% of the students feel that it is very good, and 25% of the students feel that it is good

 

10.  Rate the composition of courses in terms of Basic Sciences, Engineering science, Humanities, Discipline core, discipline elective, open elective, project, etc.?

38% of the students have rated excellent about the composition of courses in terms of Basic Sciences, Engineering science, Humanities, Discipline core, discipline elective, open elective, project, etc., 35% of the students have rated very good, and 27% of the students have rated good.
